Bio
Christine is a learning consultant with over 13 years of experience designing, developing, and managing instructor-led training and eLearning initiatives. She has worked in a variety of client industries in the U.S. and abroad including banking, call center, health care, high tech, insurance, manufacturing, mortgage, pharmaceutical, public education, retail, staffing, and telecommunications. Christine has established a reputation as a reliable and flexible professional who can work independently and as a team member to complete projects on time and within budget.
As a consultant, Christine has helped her clients realize the performance potential of their organizations by identifying tools and strategies that streamline training processes and maximize learning opportunities. She has helped training teams build performance solutions from key competency mapping to curriculum mapping, templates, standards, and evaluation strategies. In addition, Christine has facilitated selection and implementation of eLearning authoring tools and LMS/LCMS.
In her role as instructional designer, Christine is typically responsible for analyzing training needs, recommending solutions, collaborating with subject matter experts to design and develop materials, and participating in pilot sessions to implement the training solution. In addition to seasoned instructional design skills, Christine has expertise in many technology-based design applications including Infomapping and Lectora Publisher, as well as working knowledge of Flash, Captivate, and other authoring tools. She has designed and delivered training on live eLearning platforms such as MS Live Meeting and WebEx.
Christine has leveraged her experiences to train instructional designers and trainers on web-based training design and delivery strategies. She has delivered workshops on Instructional Design strategies for eLearning to new and seasoned instructional designers around the world, and worked one-on-one with trainers and managers to prepare them to deliver live eLearning/webinar sessions.
Christine’s articles on instructional design and eLearning (e.g., ISD for Live eLearning and An Instructor’s Guide to Live eLearning) have been published in industry magazines including ASTD’s Learning Circuits. She was selected by the eLearning Guild to present a case study in eLearning at the Producer conference, and recently featured in Training Magazine’s article Focus on Financial Fundamentals.
